- WHAT IF EARTH HAS A HOLE PASSING FROM ITS CORE AND A BALL IS DROPPED IN IT ?
As we know that every planet has gravity and has the basic tendency to pull things but that gravity decreases as something starts going towards the centre of the planet because the amount of matter responsible for the pulling effect decreases and there is no gravity at the centre of the earth. So, ignoring the difficulty and temperature parameters to dig an hole throughtout the earth, if we drop a ball then it will keep on accelerating till the time it would reach the centre of the earth. When it would reach the centre, then it will experience no gravity and will continue the motion. It will take a pause when it would reach the other side surface of the earth and after that again ball will start falling towards the earth and this process will continue. This process will give birth to infinite oscillations if we ignore the small gravity fluctuations, air friction and various other side disturbances.
2. HOW TO STOP AN ASTEROID IF IT IS ON THE PATH TO HIT THE EARTH ?

As we know that even if an error of even a millimetre occurs during firing a bullet, then it creates feets of distance at the concerned target. So, if we send a body or so called space probes towards an asteroid coming towards us and just make one successful attempt to make a revolution around that asteroid, then small gravity fluctuations would hamper the part of asteroid by few inches which would turn into thousands or millions of km of fluctuated path from earth but this process has to be taken quite early before the asteroid reaches close to earth. In 2029 an asteroid with similar trajectory would pass.
